About
Built for the Production Manager Running 12 Machines on a Whiteboard
Visual Machine Scheduler is a Rovaryn Digital Inc. product.
Rovaryn Digital Inc. builds focused cloud tools for underserved B2B markets — businesses that have a specific operational problem, no purpose-built software for it, and no appetite for the ERP implementation project that the enterprise vendors are selling. Production scheduling is one of those problems.
The $199–$599/month price band for standalone visual machine scheduling software is unoccupied. Excel and whiteboards own the bottom of the market. PlanetTogether and Epicor own the top. The 10–150 employee job shop — running 5–50 machines, making to order, living and dying by on-time delivery — has been ignored by both.
Visual Machine Scheduler fills that gap. One product, one problem, one price range. No ERP bundled in. No implementation project required. Live in under 30 minutes.
Why We Built This
SMB job shops and CNC machining centers manage finite resources — machines and certified operators — against variable demand, rush orders, and unplanned downtime. The tools they use to schedule that complexity are whiteboards and Excel spreadsheets that have no concept of finite capacity, no conflict detection, and no ability to show in real time which machines are loaded, which operators are available, or when the next job will actually complete.
A single machine conflict costs $250–$1,000 in restart and resequencing time. An operator certification conflict discovered on the shop floor — instead of the schedule board — means a delayed job, an unhappy customer, and a production manager who spent the afternoon firefighting instead of scheduling.
Visual Machine Scheduler is the tool we wished existed. Purpose-built Gantt scheduling with finite capacity enforcement, integrated operator scheduling, and real-time conflict detection — at a price point a production manager can justify without a board meeting.
What We Believe
Purpose-Built Over Bundled
One tool that solves one problem extremely well beats a suite that solves ten problems adequately. Visual Machine Scheduler is a scheduler, not an ERP.
Speed to Value Over Feature Richness
A production manager should be on a live, populated Gantt board within 60 minutes of signing up. If onboarding requires a consultant, we've failed.
Visibility Before Complexity
The most valuable thing a scheduling tool does is show you what you don't know yet. At-risk jobs. Double-booked operators. Machines approaching capacity. The alert that arrives before the incident.
