Pricing FAQ
- Is there a free plan?
- No. Visual Machine Scheduler is a professional scheduling tool for job shop production managers — not a freemium consumer app. The 14-day free trial on any tier gives you full access with no credit card required.
- Can I start on Essentials and upgrade to Professional later?
- Yes. Upgrade at any time from the billing settings. Your existing machines, jobs, and schedule history carry over instantly. The upgrade takes effect immediately — you don't need to wait for the next billing cycle.
- What happens when I reach my machine or seat limit?
- You'll see an in-app notification when you reach 80% of any limit. At 100%, the add action is blocked with an upgrade prompt. You can either upgrade your plan or add machines at $30/month each (user seats at $15/month each) on Essentials through Business.
- Is annual pricing billed upfront?
- Yes. Annual subscriptions are billed once per year and include two months free (equivalent to ~17% savings vs. monthly). You can switch between monthly and annual in your billing settings.
- What data do I own?
- All of it. Your machines, operators, jobs, schedules, and reports are yours. You can export to CSV at any time. If you cancel, your data is retained for 90 days and a CSV export is automatically offered before deletion.
- Do you integrate with JobBOSS², E2 ShopTech, or our ERP?
- Not in the current version. Visual Machine Scheduler is intentionally standalone — it solves the scheduling problem without requiring an ERP integration. ERP integrations are on the Enterprise roadmap. Contact us to discuss your specific workflow.
- Is there a per-user fee on top of the plan price?
- No per-user fee within your seat allotment (3 seats on Essentials, 10 on Professional, 25 on Business, unlimited on Enterprise). Additional seats cost $15/month each on Essentials through Business.
