Capacity & Setup
Time every CNC changeover from last-good-part to first-good-part, then break each setup into timed steps and tag them internal or external using the SMED method. The conversion planner estimates the minutes you could move off the machine, and the dashboard rolls those minutes up into recoverable spindle hours per machine. The spindle-hour value used to price that capacity is a figure you enter yourself — the workbook asserts no benchmark and computes only on your own timed observations.
